For the second time in at least 17 months, Joyner argued that there was a path for Bickle to get back in ministry even though he has been exposed as a sexual predator and child molester.
A bit off-subject, but I believe that Eric Volz, now Eric V. Lineiro, was an asset of the U.S. State Department, likely part of the Bureau of Intelligence and Research. If you read his book you will see that he had way too much assistance to just be a random US citizen.
Hi. Andy from England here. Read your article with interest. I’ve read several of Joyner’s books on Spiritual warfare over the years and found some resonance in my own journey into this calling. However, I recently read of his support of Trump and ergo christian Nationalism and emailed Morning Star to ask how they explained the dissonance with the true message of Jesus. No reply. I am now in a quandary as to whether to ditch the books. Discernment is often difficult for us novices at the feet of Jesus. I continue my journey and read widely so I take no man’s views as Gospel. Anyone got any insight? P .S. sorry about the state of your country (and mine) but I believe we are in Acts 2 territory and there is a great upheaval especially with a swathe of God’s purported followers who twist the Bible to their own ends. Love and Grace will win, but it’s going to be a hard final battle.
Hi Andy, thanks for the response. I’d put those books in the rubbish. The things Joyner may get right don’t even begin to make up for his role in a movement that essentially wraps fascism in the cross.
And I get it about twisting Scripture. These guys actively discourage critical thinking—at least here in the States. I don’t think it’s quite as prevalent on your side of the Pond. I attended a church led by Brits for years.
Thanks Darrell. I think we are on the same page of the Hymn sheet. I look forward to reading your future insights. Me, just a novice at the feet of Jesus 😇😉🕊️⚔️

She hasn’t responded yet. If she’s still okay with Joyner now, I’ll have a decision to make.
